How sacrilegious does our society have to become before Congress passes a law that states,” If you are responsible for a mass shooting, whether there are fatalities or not, you will get the death penalty? If you are underage your parents will be responsible, also.” Church shootings, school shootings, department store shootings, nightclub shootings, mall shootings, and now a Superbowl parade shooting! There is nothing sacred. Our children, friends, and family members are dying every day.

We can’t control how many guns are in citizen’s hands but we can control the punishment for misuse! That is the only way to stem this tide of barbarism. A strict series of laws must be passed that are worded as such,… any written word that advocates attempted destruction of property or person, or descriptive wording suggesting surveillance of a target to be destroyed, or any assembly with the intent to cause destruction, or any intercepted electronic communications with the intent to destroy or kill, etc. should have extreme penalties with no room for reduction of sentences. This has to happen immediately. OUR society must grab hold of its senses. What is happening now is “Evil Madness.” JG
