A Trump Administration policy, commonly known as Title 42, has been extremely controversial over the past several years. The Biden Administration has continued to utilize this policy. It has allowed the United States Customs and Border Patrol to stem the tide of illegal immigration along our southern borders. It was initially used in 1944 to turn away immigrants who may be a threat to the general public due to the transmission of contagious diseases they may be carrying. It has been extremely helpful not to allow our porous borders to be overrun during the past several years. It does serve a very good purpose by not allowing our country to be subject to a variety of viruses and diseases that can cause another pandemic in the United States. Of course, the proper protocol must be followed but it is not a bad thing. In fact, it should wake up Congress to pass stronger immigration enforcement, stronger quotas, stronger restrictions, and stronger deterrents to illegally entering our country. If you are being persecuted in your country move to a different city, state, province, adjoining country, etc. Fight for your freedom. Our country is a humanitarian society. Its citizens will help as many individuals as they can but can not accommodate everyone. The United States will give you the resources but “Freedom is not Free.” You must fight for individual freedom in your country on your own with assistance from countries like ours.
