How bewildering it was that the mighty 300 thousand plus, strong Afgan army trained by our own powerful armed forces for over 15 years surrendered their right to freedom in 2 weeks. The Ukrainian Army with little training and armaments but strong hearts and the will to fight have kept one of the greatest armies ever assembled by Russia from invading their homeland. Those 300 thousand Afgan “soldiers” and our leaders should be embarrassed and ashamed. It was a monumental blunder in Afghanistan and the authorities responsible should be held accountable. The people of Afghanistan, both men and women should take a long hard look at what it means to love your freedom and country by studying the Ukrainian struggle. The contrasts between the Ukrainian and Afghanistan struggles are so blatant. As the Ukrainian population fights to the death to save their country, the people of Afghanistan took what they could from the United States and then surrendered to the repressive Taliban. May “The Almighty” protect and give peace to the fighting and proud Ukrainian people and wake up the Afghanistan people.
