LOOK LEFT, LOOK RIGHT, STEP UP by The Gent

Our great society has now given two/thirds of the states the right for their population to gamble on sporting events and other things. How many young men and women are getting “hooked” on this? How many of them are going to ruin their lives because of it? Why can’t they have virtual betting where the participant wins “chits” that add up to a free trip to Washington D.C. or something like that. Why make it easier for people to gamble their paychecks away. The almighty dollar will destroy the world eventually. Our sad excuse for a government is not spending enough time and money promoting families, having babies, kindness, work ethic, civic pride and duty, education, etc. It promotes gambling, “pot,” and allows pornography all over the internet. Where do you think we are going? I see people walking around like self-indulged zombies already? Not a hello or how are you? or a nod! Down South, there is still a glimmer of hope, here, good luck! Soon to come, the commercial will read, “There is nothing healthier than a naked, pot-smoking, gambler son or daughter living in your basement.” It’s coming! Ha!
