LOOK LEFT, LOOK RIGHT, STEP FORWARD by The Gent

There must be consequences for lying. One of the basic tenets of any household is not to lie. Yet, our country is allowing the “Media” to falsify ‘the Truth’ everyday. We all understand that no matter how thin you slice “things” there are always two sides. If I may add, there are also some “thin edges.” The trouble is “the edges” get all the attention. In “Military Parlance”, ‘the edges’ are just a diversion from the true objective.

What happened? Good parenting would almost always figure out “the Truth.” Our distorted “quasi-parents” in Congress have no clue. My guess is, we have to take all forms of contributing currency for these congressman and congresswoman out of the equation. Money does funny things to people. A candidate should get X amount of dollars after they win their respective primaries. All U.S. Citizens must get a validation code and be able to vote on-line with the strictest monitoring and “Bam” there’s your elected winner on your, computer, iPhone, tablet or TV. Then we can all have a burger, a beer and play recreationally the way we choose. How about, let’s not try and kill each other.
