Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta and Assemblyman Michael Fitzpatrick had the pleasure of congratulating John Vidulich of Troop 403 for earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout at his Court of Honor.

Through his scouting activities, leadership skills, acquiring merit badges, and completing his community service project, John received the rank of Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout project, John initiated a landscaping project at St. Joseph’s Church in Kings Park. He planted various shrubs and plants, replaced two wooden benches that his cousins originally made for their Eagle Scout project, with new ones, and donated $1,000 to the church, the balance of his fundraising efforts.

“This is a wonderful time for John, his family and friends and the other scouts. I hope you serve as an inspiration to your fellow scouts,” said Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta.  "This rank and accomplishment will be with you for the rest of your life."
