Look Left, Look Right, Step Up by the Gent

How long are we going to allow these pharmaceutical companies to manipulate us? They have become extremely adept at exploiting us and the patent system. They have generated billions of dollars in profit. Even with all their profit, they threaten to slow down their R&D if they can’t raise prices! I would have all executives of these pharmaceutical companies take a version of the "Hippocratic Oath." Shouldn’t they be more concerned with the health of us all, especially infants and the elderly? Our society must be focused to care more for our children and senior citizens. Pharmaceuticals must eliminate the “greed factor.”

The rest of the population should follow suit, and grow up to realize they must take care of themselves and not look for “handouts.” Our government must stop listening to our country's 'Excuse Army' pleading with a "new car" in their garage. The USA will be judged in the future on how we treated our needy but in today’s world, there must be a regulated body that can decipher real needs from fake. There should be severe punishment for fraudulent representation. “Pharmaceutical Giants” must set a better standard of care for those in need.
