On December 18, 2022, Argentina won the World Cup in a gutsy, thrilling game versus the defending champions, France. It was a game for the Ages. I thought I would share some of my texts with my good friend from Argentina. This historic game had to be mentioned one more time.

Me, “DiMaria should be back in the game.”
Me, “Martinez guessed right twice with Mbappe but was too slow!”
Me, “At 100 minutes, Good replacements by Argentina.”
Me, “What a game!”
Me, “Shoot out, Wow!”
Me, “Greatest World Cup ever!!!”
Me, “Oh my God!!!”
Me, “Martinez was tough!!!”
Me, “Miracle Win!!!” (In Shootout)
My Friend, “Well thank god it’s over, too much suffering, Bro.”
Me, “Great all guts win. Congratulations.”
Over 4 million fans turned out to congratulate their team in Buenos Aires.
