Look Left, Look Right, Step Up by the Gent

It is obvious to me that “Multimedia” programming thinks we all are deaf and dumb. They repeat and repeat "society's wounds" and inevitably make them worse. Most of us know that “Multimedia” programming doesn’t care about society. All they want are ratings to obtain advertising dollars.

It’s the same theme over and over again. The Machiavellian way of thinking has never changed. We all have to be careful about that.

I have termed “Multimedia” insensitivity ‘Echoism.’ The “Media” in all its forms constantly echoes racism, homophobia, and anti-Semitism. These three ugly tenets have been constantly drilled into us. We all know they exist. Most of us know that slowly but surely fighting these subjects will make our world better. Hey "Media," stop the constant echo!

Today, there are black mayors in four of the largest cities in America. The United States has had a black president. The Jewish people are respected around the world and 95% of the world knows the Holocaust did happen. The LGBTQ community has been making great strides globally. Just witness the LGBTQ protests from the FIFA teams. The world knows all about these “wounds” in ours and many other societies. They don’t need to be echoed every day in one way or another. We must stop “Echoism” just for the sake of more advertising or stock earnings! It only causes more divisiveness. "America is an Eagle with two wings and it needs both to fly."

What should be echoed now is the problems of climate change, nuclear proliferation, hunger, repression, and aggression they must be immediately addressed. If nothing is done soon our children and grandchildren will have no future and to be more definitive, no Mother Earth.
