Many of us watch sports. Usually, after a team wins a championship, a player is interviewed. When he is asked, how and why, his first answer is always, “Teamwork” (TW), it was a team effort. What turned “TW” into hate in America? I’ll start with the media, they began separating the country (our team) into groups, to create the illusion that we are not one people, one team, but many little groups that are being screwed by each other. “TW” turned to unemployment when technology started eliminating the easy jobs that anyone could do and the good jobs required real skills and education. “TW” turned to divisiveness when the politicians realized that many of the big problems of the previous century had been solved. They decided in order to get elected, they would take radical agendas to create a base. They surmised that maybe by turning one group against the other, a “misfit” (them) can get elected. “TW” turned to fear when our outside enemies (socialist/communist) realized what was going on in our country and jumped in. “TW” turned to dumbness when our collective IQ went down, due to a lack of motivation and laziness, people started believing all media. “TW” turned to neglect when parents stopped being teachers to their kids and became their friends and are afraid to teach their children that the biggest problem might be looking back at themselves in the mirror. “TW” turned to mediocrity when the country stopped being a meritocracy and became an entitlement society. “TW” turned to individuality when we stopped embracing the melting pot and began celebrating individual diversity. “TW” turned to weakness when kids stopped playing outside and became addicted to their phones. “TW” turned to resentment when we started denigrating rich people who are the ones who usually contribute the most, and as a consequence, those same rich people stopped trying to better the masses. What America really needs is TEAMWORK to make THE DREAM WORK.
