Looking for a unique gift this holiday season for the Jazz lover in your life? Check out The Jazz Loft’s offerings of Jazz themed scented candles, t-shirts with engaging sayings, Jazz Loft hats, magazines, CDs, and vinyl records!

Last year The Jazz Loft debuted a line of three original jazz-inspired scented candles created by local resident Renee Fondacaro of Old Field Apothecary.

Renee worked alongside Founder Tom Manuel and the Jazz Loft team to create scents that spark the same excitement as jazz music. The “Lady Day” candle has notes of rose, green leaf, powder, musk, and white gardenia inspired by Billie Holiday’s signature flower that she wore in her hair. “Mood Indigo,” inspired by Duke Ellington, has notes of leather, smoke, tobacco, sandalwood, musk, and amber to bring the feeling of an elegant jazz club to your home. The holiday-inspired Jingle Jazz candle spikes up the traditional Christmas tree scent with notes of gin, red currant, oak, juniper, and cypress.

Old Field Apothecary candles are both gluten- and paraben-free, and made with clean burning vegan coconut apricot creme wax. Each candle is hand-poured and contains a crackling wooden wick to create a cozy, by-the-fireside experience.

A Jazz fan can never have enough t-shirts announcing their loyalty to their favorite music, and The Jazz Loft is currently presenting designs that will surely start a conversation. The new black “Ya dig?” shirt is a charming and spunky design. ‘Dig’, a popularized Jazz slang word with the definition written on the shirt, “to perceive the intended meaning of (words, a language, or a speaker),” is sure to speak to the heart of your Jazz lover. We also are still holding our Harbor Jazz Festival tees and the classic Jazz Loft logo shirts and hats, both a great staple to add to a special someone’s closet.

Also searching hard for a specific vinyl or CD to gift and can’t find it anywhere? Look no further—stop by The Jazz Loft and take a look at our variety of Jazz records, offering names like Les Brown and Larry Clinton. We also carry several Jazz music magazines, most notably from the Jazz Journal.

Jazz-inspired scented candles are $25, t-shirts $25, hats $20, CD $4, vinyl records $4, and magazines $2. The Jazz Loft is located at 275 Christian Avenue in Stony Brook.
