The time to vote for the Smithtown Central School District Budget and Election came to a close on May 17 at 9 p.m.  Here are the results of the election according to the Smithtown Central School District website: 

Budget Vote #1 (Passed): 

• Voted Yes: 5,250
• Voted No: 2,460

Establish Capital Reserve (Passed): 

• Voted Yes: 5,249
• Voted No: 2,241
