5 Events Happening This Weekend

There are numerous events happening this weekend.  If someone can't decide what to do, here are five events to choose from: 

1. Famous Food Truck Market 

• What: The Famous Food Festival will be hosting the outdoor food truck market at the Smith Haven Mall.  There will be multiple vendors to choose from and it's free admission.
• Where: Smith Haven Mall (Lake Grove, NY 11755)
• When: Friday-Sunday at 12 p.m.

2. 9th Annual Farmingville Street Fair 

• What: The Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual street fair with crafts, live music, a beer garden, bounce structures and more.
• Where: 1075 Portion Rd, Farmingville, NY 11738
• When: Sunday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m.

3. Port Jefferson Sea Shanty & Maritime Music Festival 

• What: Well known singers from the UK, New England and Long Island will be performing live at Harborfront Park.
• Where: Harborfront Park (101A E Broadway, Port Jefferson, NY 11777)
• When: Saturday, Oct. 2 from 12-5 p.m.

4. Apple Fest 

• What: This year's Apple Festival will include live music, artisan demonstrations and numerous apple treats.  
• Where: Stony Brook Community Church (216 Christian Ave, Stony Brook, NY 11790)
• When: Saturday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m.

5. Live Music with Paige Patterson 

• What: Dinner and a show.  Paige Patterson will perform live for the people at the Garden Grill.
• Where: Garden Grill (64 N Country Rd, Smithtown, NY 11787)
• When: Friday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.
