Laws without enforcement have no meaning. The new Government in office and Project 2025 has exposed that our legislative branch cannot enforce specific laws, rules, and policies. Their exposure of this weakness will tremendously impact our nation's economic, political, and social institutions. Today, the “mighty dollar” controls our Government. Politicians hate to raise funds. If they can receive a stream of money without raising an iPhone to their ear, they will yield to the source, wherever the funds may come from. This is happening and it is dangerous. There must be better checks and balances. I am afraid if no action is taken within the next year, our country will turn into an “Autocratic Monarchy” of sorts.
