Film and Discussion - Racing Extinction - Fri May 3 6:30 pm
Smithtown Library (Smithtown Building)
Its film and discussion time at the Smithtown Library with Joyann Cirigliano of the Four Harbors Audubon Society. The film will be Racing Extinction. This film will be about how wildlife are disappearing at a rate that’s 100 times faster than normal extinction rates and how, a group of scientists, photographers and volunteers are fighting to expose the reasons behind some of the losses and work to protect endangered species. Smithtown Historical Society
It's time for Old Time Baseball at the Smithtown Historical Society. This will be a 19th century baseball game featuring the Atlantic Baseball Club playing by 1864-70 style and rules. Game time starts at 11 a.m. Admission is free. [more details]

All Souls Church
This Saturdays at Six concert will be feature Voyager Reed Quintet. Their performances represent the intersection of a wide variety of music, particularly that of living composers, jazz and popular music, contemporary classical music, and older works made new to the reed quintet medium through transcriptions and arrangements. Sweetbriar Nature Center
It's Sunday Funday at the Sweetbriar Nature Center. This Sunday it will be a Baby Shower for Wildlife. Here people can prepare for all the baby animals from squirrels and bunnies to hummingbirds and ducklings — get the nourishment and medical care they need to thrive.
