The up-and-coming New Year is approaching. What will help us all have a better life? We live next to neighbors with different cultural backgrounds, religious beliefs, sexual orientations, hobbies, education, health issues, and food preferences, one likes Whole Foods the other 7-Eleven. Ha! That is a handful to cope with but for the most part, during the past 250 years, we have done it.
In 2024, I think we should all have a rebirth of love and understanding of our neighbors. After all, we are not sharing a room or bathroom with them! Don’t we all want peace for our children?
Our society must promote responsible and respectful behavior on social media platforms. Diversity of thought and culture is a strength of any society. The goal is to create a society where differences are respected and celebrated, and where people can come together to address common challenges. Achieving this requires a combination of individual effort, community initiatives, and government policies with strong leaders.
If you truly look in the mirror and do not want to pledge this rebirth that mirror will reflect in the future what you see today in Ukraine, Gaza, and other parts of the world. Let’s get started and heal this great country with dignity, not aggression. HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥳 🥂
