Are we really becoming like the pigs in “Animal Farm?”
"Animal Farm" by George Orwell a powerful allegory, depicts how revolutions can be corrupted and how those who gain power can betray the ideals that inspired the revolution in the first place. The story evolves into a critique of greed, propaganda, and the abuse of power. The portrayals are as old as time itself. It mirrors today in many ways.
Orwell had a lot of enlightening things to say. I recommend reading his works. He was a proponent of Democratic Socialism. Although, many of you believe unregulated Capitalism is the way, today's society is too sophisticated for free enterprise to be left to the greedy and unsympathetic without some restraints. Society should use an A.I. committee from different social, educational, and economic genres to make our decisions. Let’s take out all the BS partisanship. Let technology with the "Wisdom of the Ages" decide things we can not seem to manage on our own. I think Orwell would approve.
