If someone is in the mood for baseball and a little history, then head down to the Smithtown Historical Society. It's that time for one of their recurring events. It's time for tea and tales of the Titanic. As of this April, it has been 111 years since the ship first set sail. Join Margaret Johnson as she weaves tea history and Titanic lore into a formal three-course menu. That menu includes sandwiches and savories, scones, tea breads and decadent sweets, many based on period recipes. Tea and a sparkling beverage round out the menu. Bring your fanciest teacup to sample the tea. It's $12 per person and registration is on the library's website. [more details]
Earth Day is Every Day - Sun Apr 23 1:00 pm
