Since October 2018, Transfitnation has provided personal training for the residents of Smithtown. Their coaches help their clients live a healthy and fulfilling life by transforming their mind, body and health.

Transfitnation trains people of all ages and fitness levels who want to lose weight, tone up, get stronger, eliminate joint pain, and improve their overall health. By creating a unique exercise experience, they help people eat smarter and move better, as they form new healthy habits that will last a lifetime, according to the organization’s website.

Most recently, they had their quarterly fundraising campaign. Their team raised a total of $1673.48 for the Smithtown Children’s Foundation from January – March 2023. This money will benefit children and families in crisis within our local community.

“We would like to thank our amazing team, our generous clients, and partners for the amazing support in this fundraiser,” said Owner Steve Dell’Amore. “None of this would have been possible without your help and generosity. We are excited to be giving back to our community by supporting a local charity that helps children and families who have experienced hardship.”

On April 1, 2023, Smithtown Children’s Foundation was presented with the money by Transfitnation that includes profits and proceeds from the Transfitnation apparel sales, Healthy Heart Charity Fitness Class, GoFundMe donations, Polar Plunge sponsorship, and Polar Plunge ticket sales.

“We finished our quarter one funding for the Smithtown Children’s Foundation,” Steve said. “However we are definitely interested in continuing our relationship with them. They are a great charity led by some amazing women and we really enjoyed working with them.”

In June 2020, a youth client of Transfitnation, Charles Armstrong, was diagnosed with brain cancer. The Smithtown Children’s Foundation supported Charles and his family through this difficult situation. Charles has since recovered and is now a writer and contributing author for the Transfitnation blog.

The Smithtown Children’s Foundation is a NY State not for profit, 501c3, and public charity, 170b, providing financial and emotional support to families residing within the Smithtown School District. This Foundation is independent of the Smithtown School District or any other organization having similar objectives.

Trnsfitnation is currently working on their next quarterly fundraising campaign by teaming up with the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI).
