Superheroes of the Sky - Sat Apr 8 11:00 am

Sweetbriar Nature Center

Head down to the Sweetbriar Nature Center to learn about their Birds of Prey.  Jim will be teaching about about their Bald Eagle, Turkey Vultures, owls, hawks and more.  For a morning of learning about the Superheroes of the Sky, tickets are available here. [more details]


Second Saturday Poetry Reading - Sat Apr 8 11:00 am

The Second Saturday Poetry Reading is on April 8 and the feature poet will be Greg Alexander.  He is a retired psychologist and poet who lives with his wife, Hanita, in Stony Brook, N.Y.  His mother and mentor, Hannah, was also a published poet. Greg has published "Call them home" (Allbook Books) and is working on his 2nd book of poetry.  The reading be held virtually through Zoom.  Participants can access the program through this link. Easter Egg Hunt - Sat Apr 8 10:30 pm

Smithtown Historical Society
