Local Smithtown Car Dealership Gives Back to Paws of War

Nesconset, NY - Competition Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown recently welcomed Paws of War to their facility to present them with a Sprinter Van that will be used to further the nonprofits mission of “Helping Both Ends of the Leash.” Competition Mercedes-Benz assisted Paws of War in providing them with the van that will be used for rescue missions and transporting dogs and cats from across the country. These pups and cats will then be paired and placed with local veterans and first responders in the community.

“On behalf of Paws of War, we are grateful for Competition Mercedes-Benz and their continuous support throughout the years,” said Kelli Porti, U.S. Army Veteran and Community Outreach Laison for Paws of War.  "This is a prime example of local organizations coming together to support fellow community members in need."

Competition Auto Group has been a supporter of Paws of War since the pandemic, providing the nonprofit with an annual grant to support their many programs.
