Look Left, Look Right, Step Up by The Gent

Did the forefathers of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence want this? I see our country being split into halves, fourths, eighths, sixteenths, and on and on. Men against women, parents against teachers, laymen against doctors, husbands against wives, immigrants against immigrants, political party against political party. Police against the citizenry.

“Pot” is good for you. Sports betting is ok. Lying and stealing is ok, just don't get caught! Discipline is not good for children. Strive for your dreams even if you're begging for food no matter how old you are! Climate Change is a hoax. Losers won’t accept defeat with dignity. Where is the common sense of our forefathers? All of this is making a strong foothold in our society. Our country is slowly corroding from the inside out.

How about this for a solution since no one wants to change their mind? Every six years, two out of three matches between Republicans and Democrats in all elections. One mental acuity match, one computer-driven research competition, and one common sense contest. If you win two out of three, you’re in the office for six years. Do we need something new? Maybe you all have a better idea?
