The holidays are coming up, which means the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is too.  There will be food, live music from our local schools, and a visit from Santa Clause (courtesy of the Smithtown Fire Department).  In addition, the town will have a collection site set up for the Smithtown Food Pantry during the event. Residents may drop off non-perishables like canned foods, boxed cereals and snacks, powdered milk and powdered baby formula.
